HOW TO STICK YOUR ‘NECK’ OUT BEAUTIFULLY
Frequently, people’s necks can age faster than the rest of their face. There area several reasons for this perplexing oddity. First of all, neck skin is actually a bit thinner when compared to your face, plus the muscle and skin tissue is weaker, as well. Another issue that many do not realize is that the way you sleep can give your neck wrinkles and crease. Finally, most people tend not to cleanse, exfoliate, or even moisturize their neck area. Thus, you should be mindful that your neck receives the same damage from environmental factors as your face, so it should be treated in a similar fashion. The bottom line is that the “turkey wattle” is an uncomplimentary feature which causes many women, and men, to appear much older than they actually are.
The Neck Lift is a facial enhancement procedure which helps to tighten the muscles on the neck while removing excess skin and fat. The method I have developed is more isolated than that of a general facelift, and it helps to contour the jawline for a younger appearance. Incisions used in the neck lift procedure will be made in inconspicuous places so that when healed, they are virtually unnoticeable. With these small access sites, my goal is to tighten the underlying muscles while removing any excess skin and fat that has caused premature signs of aging or sagging.
The neck lift is often done in a combination of other procedures such as a facelift, cheek lift, or facial liposuction. All of these procedures are designed to visibly change the signs of aging and aesthetically rejuvenate your entire face and neck. I have found these improvements empower patients to feel confident in their appearance without extensive surgery.
