Additionally, gummy bear implants can be much more natural-feeling and comfortable than other implant options for many women. Despite being cohesive and more solid than silicone gel, gummy bear implants feel very similar to natural breast tissue and can mimic it much more effectively.

Along with the above points, another benefit of gummy bear implants is that they come with many of the same perks of other implant options like a range of sizes, projection, and incision and placement options. This makes them just as customizable as silicone gel or saline implants.

Cons

Despite the benefits of gummy bear implants, there are some negative factors to consider. Because gummy bear implants are more stable than cohesive gel implants, they can require a bigger incision for placement. This means the chance for more visible scarring, depending on your incision location.

Some women also find that gummy bear implants are too firm for their goals and that a silicone gel implant is more in-line with their ideal feel. Although this is different for every woman, it’s important to remember that firmness and feel can have an effect on the projection and appearance of your results.
